Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis

For 85 years, Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis has empowered youth with quality, holistic programs that provide them with the tools to escape cycles of poverty. The mission of Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis is to enable boys in the St. Louis metropolitan area, especially those who who need the Club most, to realize their physical, intellectual, and emotional potential. Gene Slay's Boys' Club of St. Louis works to prepare the next generation of young men to lead the community. Many of Gene Slay's Boys' Club's alumni have and continue to impact the St. Louis metropolitan area as leaders in the business community, elected officials, judges, medical professionals, police officers and fire fighters, professional athletes, and philanthropists.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank

The St. Louis Area Foodbank began its service to the community in 1975. Since that time, they've grown to become the Bi-State region's largest non-profit 501 food distribution center dedicated to feeding those in need. Today, they continue to be an organization that relies on the generosity of others to make a difference in the lives of those in need of food assistance. The St. Louis Area Foodbank's mission is to feed hungry people by distributing food through partner agencies and educate the public about the nature of, and solutions to, the problems of hunger. Many Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis employees have pledged a portion of each paycheck to benefit the St. Louis Area Foodbank.

Friends of Kids with Cancer

Friends of Kids with Cancer was founded in 1992 by Jill Turec, a Developmental Specialist, along with Molly Henry and Suzie Snowden, who were parents of children in treatment who witnessed their kids' struggles and saw the need for diversions in their lives. Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases. Their mission is to be an advocate for those special kids and provide them and their families with the educational, emotional, and recreational support needed as a result of the long hours of chemotherapy, illness, and isolation. All proceeds from Mungenast Automotive Family's MOTOR MANIA went directly to Friends of Kids with Cancer; many of our other events benefit this organization as well.
